UGM 2009 Review

Thank you to all of the attendees who made the 2009 Annual User Group Meeting an outstanding success!
Members of the ClearVantage community came out in record numbers to participate in 25 educational sessions and roundtables ranging in topic from building great websites to utilizing business intelligence to roundtable discussions focusing on membership and financial management and technology trends. Best of all, UGM09 was designed and driven by ClearVantage users who suggested and participated in delivering the conference sessions.
“I was excited to see all of the new and improved features of ClearVantage that were revealed at this year’s meeting, I was particularly pleased by the wide selection of sessions available and the overall quality of the sessions. There was truly something for everyone – whether a novice user or a power user like me – and it proved to be of great value to our organization.”
David LaFleche
Director of Membership at the Educational Theatre Association
ClearVantage user since 2007.
The UGM09’s theme of Educating ClearVantage users, Engaging peers, Elevating knowledge and Embracing the growing ClearVantage community played out fantastically as users filled the learning sessions to capacity and also took advantage of networking opportunities to put faces to names and create new relationships with their fellow ClearVantage users.
“This year’s meeting was incredibly beneficial to our staff. For example, the ‘Communicating with Members’ session was very useful and gave us new, concrete ideas on how to better serve our members. We also had the opportunity to meet with so many other ClearVantage users and compare notes on how we each use the software. Such networking is invaluable to us as we continue to implement ClearVantage at our county medical societies throughout California. We look forward to continuing these discussions with fellow users at Euclid’s online user forums.”
Shirley Wtulich
Director of Information Technology at the California Medical Association
ClearVantage user since 2006.
The closing ceremonies featured Euclid’s CEO Charlie Vinal and long-time ClearVantage user Dr. Paul Carton as well as the debut of the “CVies” – an award ceremony that recognized outstanding and unique accomplishments of the ClearVantage user community.
The feedback from UGM09 was positive and generated great ideas for the next conference! We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
