Bethesda, Maryland - Euclid Technology (www.euclidtechnology.com), one of the nation’s leading providers of association management software, is pleased to announce that the American Historical Association (AHA) has selected Euclid's AMS solution, ClearVantage.
As the largest historical society in the United States, the AHA offers its membership a wide variety of benefits and services. Such benefits include renowned publications such as the American Historical Review; the largest annual meeting of historians in the United States; grants and fellowship opportunities; and a range of online resources for teachers and students of history.
Because AHA does so much for its members, it was looking for a solution that provided the maximum amount of functionality across the board. They found that with Euclid’s ClearVantage. For instance, ClearVantage met most of the AHA’s requirements out-of-the-box. “We were quite impressed with the overall functionality of ClearVantage,” says Robert Townsend, Assistant Director of the American Historical Association. “WE were looking for a system that could help us better serve our members in today’s online environment, and ClearVantage seemed ready to do that. But perhaps equally important, we appreciated Euclid’s hands-on, highly personalized approach to the project, and the solid relationships they have developed with their current clients.”
“We are delighted that AHA has selected Euclid as its Association Management Software provider, and we look forward to working with the AHA team to serve the prominent group of professional historians that AHA represents,” says Charles Vinal, President and CEO of Euclid Technology. “On a personal note, this partnership is gratifying and somewhat serendipitous: My father-in-law, a history professor specializing in ancient Greece and Rome, got his first teaching job through an AHA conference almost 40 years ago. His research inspired me to name my software company ‘Euclid’ – and now our company will be assisting AHA as it provides the support and opportunities that helped my father-in-law and thousands of others like him have great careers as they teach and inspire the coming generations”.
