Smooth ClearVantage Implementation at CIAB

Bethesda, MD -- Euclid Technology (www.euclidtechnology.com), an industry leader in association management software solutions, is please to announce that it has smoothly implemented ClearVantage, its flagship association management software (AMS) solution, at the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (The Council).
The Council was seeking an AMS that would help manage its current membership while also continuing to bring on new members. The organization had been with its previous AMS vendor for several years and wanted to move away from a system that had become too customized for them. This customization path did not allow for proper web integration; did not support all their business processes; and had taken them off the upgrade path, an increasingly expensive diversion.
It was therefore a big task for Euclid to take on when it was selected to implement its AMS product, ClearVantage, for The Council. The combination of superior software and a close working relationship between The Council and Euclid produced a successful “go live” of ClearVantage and Euclid’s Content Management System (CMS), ClearVantage Connect, on time and within budget.
The Council found that ClearVantage could handle most of its requirements out-of-the-box. Multiple member types and affiliated dues amounts (that are automatically calculated based on numerous criteria), events ranging from small to large, and the ability to add industry specific fields as necessary were on the top of the requirements list. However, there were additional requirements such as managing the housing options for thousands of attendees at its annual conference that would require configuration. In the past, this type of functionality had always been managed manually or in disparate systems but moving forward it needed to be included as part of the ClearVantage solution.
Euclid came, listened, and forged a solid working relationship that rested on collaboration, industry expertise and mutual respect. “Throughout the implementation, we received several calls and emails lauding the efforts of the Euclid team and its commitment to The Council,” says Charlie Vinal, Euclid’s President and CEO. “It is always great to hear about such synergy from a client. The fact that they remained excited and enthusiastic throughout the process shows what a terrific and motivated staff that The Council has --- everyone wanted this project to succeed, and they were willing to do what was necessary to make it work,” concludes Vinal.
The Council also opted to utilize Euclid’s Content Management System (CMS), ClearVantage Connect (CV Connect) to manage its website functionality. This powerful CMS allows The Council to control its entire website including adding new pages, issuing alerts and RSS feeds; managing social-networking; and more. The Council looked at others CMS options; however, they found that CV Connect provided the functionality that they needed to manage and extend their website for a price that was much lower than the other packages they reviewed.
Alison Bowman, Senior Vice President of Member Services at The Council, sums up the implementation in this way: “We were ecstatic! The Euclid team guided us through the entire implementation. Not once did we feel as though we were on our own or couldn’t call them with any questions or concerns.” Bowman continues: “Since the go live, we’ve used the system extensively from day one. Euclid is always quick to respond when we have questions or concerns arise. They’ve been wonderful to work with.”
