This release introduces the new Saved Lists Manager, providing a convenient way to maintain and manage saved lists. It also adds major enhancements to action lists and action items, including configurable questions, instructions, and award tracking, along with a new Emails history tab in the Organization notebook. Additional improvements include updates to invoices, committees, and events, plus several bug fixes to improve stability and usability.

New Features

  • Saved Lists Manager
    • A new "Manage Lists" button has been added to interfaces where saved lists are present, making it easier to update and organize saved lists. Lists can now be renamed, subscribers can be modified, and outdated lists can be deleted. Additionally, system administrators have the ability to manage saved lists created by other users.

Updates

  • Action List

    • The "Action Categories" reference table has been moved into the "Admin" menu and renamed "Action Lists".
    • Added a "Questions" section to the Action List form, allowing users to define specific questions that will appear on the Action Item notebook for records assigned to the Action List, along with instructions that will be displayed with the questions when prompting for input.
    • An "Action Item Instructions" field has also been added, enabling users to provide text content associated with the Action List that can flow into custom web forms on the public website.

  • Action Item

    • Added the "Questions" tab to the Action Item notebook. This tab displays the questions defined for the selected Action List and allows users to add responses directly within the tab.
    • An "Awards" tab has been added to the Action Item notebook, allowing multiple awards to be attached to an Action Item. Only awards belonging to the member assigned to the Action Item can be attached.
  • Committee

    • The search form for adding a new member to a committee has been enhanced to support advanced search capabilities, making it easier to identify and select the appropriate individual.
  • Dues/Sub/Don List

    • Updated the "Payment Method" (CCKEYNUM) column to show the full payment details for each record.
  • Email Blast UI

    • Added new EMAIL_SKIPSTATUSEMAIL CVO setting to let users optionally disable status emails for various email locations in CVO.

  • Event Notebook

    • The Function CD will now be shown in the function list on both the registration form and "Manage Functions" UI.
  • Event Function Notebook

    • Added support for system reports. Reports can flow into the Function notebook from the FUNCTION NOTEBOOK REPORTS system reports subfolder.
  • Invoice Notebook

    • Removed the "Items" tab and the "View Payments" activity button. These were replaced with a new "Items and Payments" tab which shows the full transaction history for the invoice.
    • "Return Checked Products" has been replaced with a new "Return Products" button in the notebook activities panel.
    • Added "Exclude from Level 3?" (EXCLUDEFROMLEVEL3) as a field in the baseline layout. This can be used to prevent Level 3 data from being sent to the payment processor for a given invoice.
    • Added links throughout the notebook to make it easier for users to access the payee, recipient, and invoice item records. Also, certain invoice items (event registrations and cancellations, event functions, event booths, dues/sub/don, advertising orders, and job board postings) now have links back the the originating transaction record.
    • Various updates were made to the Invoice and Invoice Item notebooks to improve layout clarity, enhance the user experience, and align functionality more closely with what is available in CV Desktop.

  • Manage Duplicates

    • Added support for system reports. Reports can flow into the Manage Duplicates interfaces from the CUSTOMER DUP REPORTS or ORGANIZATION DUP REPORTS system reports subfolders.
  • Membership Renewals

    • Dues Created List
      • Added "Payment Method on File?" (PAYMENTMETHODONFILEFLG) and "Payment Method" (CCKEYNUM) as columns in the baseline layout.
  • Organization Notebook

    • Added the "Emails" history tab. This tab shows a record of select past and upcoming email communications for the active organization.
      • Requires configuration of the KEEPEMAILHISTORY=Y CV system setting and USE_SERVICEBLASTEMAIL_V2NEW=Y CV Online setting, along with updated versions of CV Transaction Manager and the CV Web Objects. Please coordinate with your support analyst to enable this feature. Only emails generated after the configuration has been enabled will appear on the history tab.
      • Emails that will appear on the history tab include:
        • Email blasts sent through the email blast interface.
        • Invoice emails sent through the "Email Invoice" feature.
        • Emails generated by a journey for an organization transaction.
      • When reviewing emails, past messages may be previewed or downloaded, and messages scheduled for the future may be deleted.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where dropdowns, on a form with an existing record, were not loading the existing value correctly in some scenarios.
  • Fixed bug where saved lists were showing an error when used for email blasts in certain scenarios.
