v1.32.06

This release introduces several enhancements to the action item and award management experience, including the ability to create awards and upload documents directly from the action item notebook. It also adds new permissions and fields across award notebooks and lists, improved search and configuration options for events and invoices, selectable grid cell text, and unsaved changes alerts for all notebooks.

Updates

  • Action Item Notebook

    • The action item notebook now opens in a full tab. Additionally the action item notebook tabs can now be configured via the Notebook Editor.
    • Awards Tab
      • A new "Create Award" list action was added to allow the creation of an award directly from the action item. The new award will be automatically attached to the action item and its owner after the award has been created.
    • Documents Tab
      • A new "Upload Document" list action was added to allow the upload of a document directly from the action item. The new document will be automatically attached to the action item and its owner after the document has been uploaded.
  • Award List

    • Users must now possess either the "Award Administrator" or "System Administrator" user permission to add or delete award records, or make changes on the award notebook profile tab. Users without these permissions may still add, edit, and delete award nominee and document records.
    • Added the "Award Type" filter to allow filtering award list by award type.
  • Award Notebook

    • Users must now possess either the "Award Administrator" or "System Administrator" user permission to add or delete award records, or make changes on the award notebook profile tab. Users without these permissions may still add, edit, and delete award nominee and document records.
    • Add new "Submission Type" field that indicates the award submission method (apply, nominate, or both).
    • Add new "Document Uploads" section to allow document requirements to be set for an award application.
      • Requires an update to the web award application which will be included in a future release.

  • Event Notebook

    • Added new EVT_REG_BADGE_FIELDS CVO setting to configure the badge fields for the event registration form.
    • Registrations Tab
      • Added new Quick Find feature that enables users to conveniently search registrations by applying multiple filters simultaneously.

  • Individual Notebook

    • Education Tab
      • Added new NB_INDEDU_DEGREE_AUTOFILL CVO setting. When present and set to Y, selecting a value from the Degree dropdown will automatically set the value in the Institution field to the description for the selected value.
  • Invoice Item Notebook

    • Added new ALLOW_INVITM_DELETE_PAID CVO setting (default Y) to determine whether paid (but not posted) invoice items can be deleted.
    • Added "AR Period" to the baseline layout.
  • Invoice List

    • Added new INV_LIST_EXCLUDEFEES CVO setting. When present and populated with a comma-separated list of product codes, will add a new option in the "Item Type" dropdown on the invoice quick find interface. Selecting the "P - Product (excluding fees and surcharges)" option will return a list of invoices that contain a product other than any of the listed fee or surcharge products. This may be combined with other invoice search criteria (such as date ranges) but is not compatible with the "Item Codes" feature which will be disabled when this option is selected.
  • Invoice Notebook

    • Added new "Mark as Shipped" activity button.
    • The "Invoice Email Recipient" (invoiceemail) field now acts as an override email address for invoice-related emails, matching the functionality of this field in CV Desktop. When populated, Pay Now emails, invoice report emails, and emails sent via Email Invoice(s) will be delivered to the specified address instead of the payee. This does not currently apply to QuickLetters, but support for that will be added in a future release.
  • List Interfaces

    • Grid cell text is now selectable, enabling quick copying to the clipboard.
  • Notebook Interfaces

    • Added new NB_UNSAVED_CHANGES_ALERT CVO setting (default Y) to determine whether to alert users if they try to close a notebook with unsaved changes.
  • User List and Notebook

    • Added "Award Administrator" user permission to the list and notebook layout.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where "Register All" action in the event speakers tab and "Register Bucket" action in the event notebook did not populate badge information for generated registrations.
  • Fixed issue where the list editor was not working properly on the "Member History" tab in the committee notebook.
  • Fixed issue where Manage Data for Individuals could timeout when loading a large number of records

CV Web 5 Baseline

  • The CV Web 5 baseline has been updated with new features and fixes.
  • Depending on your member website configuration, additional configuration may be required to activate these enhancements in your environment.
