ClearVantage Powers Major Festival for EdTA

| August 30, 2017

Euclid Technology is pleased to announce that the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) hosted another successful International Thespian Festival (ITF) using its ClearVantage association management software.

EdTA is a national non-profit with 100,000 student and professional members that strive to enrich theatre education by supporting both teachers and students. Each year, ITF brings together thousands of students and educators to celebrate student achievement in the performing arts.

This year’s event was held on June 19-24 at the University of Nebraska and included 4,200 registrants. The entire event, from its sophisticated registration process to housing and scheduling, was managed using ClearVantage.

“The Educational Theatre Association worked closely with Euclid in 2016- 2017 to adapt the events module to meet the association’s specific needs for organizing registration data for a complex event,” said Jim Flanagan, EdTA Director of Strategic Initiatives and Technology. “For the first time, we were able to capture and preserve event registration data for all participants, who include students, their teachers, and their chaperones, in addition to teaching artists, and several categories of vendors and exhibitors. Different departments did not have to keep independent spreadsheets.”
