Why Survey Context Matters

The ClearVantage survey tool makes it easy to build out robust member surveys in a variety of formats, from multiple choice to free text responses. The real power of the tool however, is behind the scenes. A big advantage of using ClearVantage to conduct member surveys is that responses are automatically tied to a member’s individual notebook. This makes survey responses far more meaningful because details about the member, and the context for their survey response is available at your fingertips.

More importantly, it means that you do not have to waste your member's valuable time – and risk that they click away before completing the survey – asking basic questions about their membership status. You may have seen examples of these context questions in other surveys: how long have you been a member? How often do you attend events? These questions may be necessary with third-party survey tools, but not with ClearVantage.

The ClearVantage survey tool ties all responses to the member’s individual record. As a result, you can access all this contextualizing information – how long they have been a member, how many events they have attended, etc. – without asking in the survey itself. This feature puts ClearVantage ahead of third-party tools that simply cannot provide this member context.

The survey tool also makes it easy to take away critical insights from survey responses. From detailed individual member responses, to general chart and graph views, the survey tool allows users to find response patterns and stay ahead of the curve.
